Hand in Hand for Haiti school in Saint Marc, Artibonite, Haiti opens
Hand in Hand for Haiti project reached its culmination: the opening of the Lycée Jean-Baptiste Point du Sable in Saint Marc.
The project to open the school has been the focus of 18 months of industry fund-raising. Some 153 pupils, aged between three and five, took their places on day one. They were greeted on arrival by School Director Pierre Marie Guinet, who escorted them to their classrooms along with the newly appointed teachers.
